Pacific Northern Environmental is committed to the safety and health of its employees, customers, and the environment we work in. Our commitment to working safely begins and ends each day through our employees’ personal commitment to safety. Our words and actions towards safety are reinforced through our new-hire screening and orientation, training (both at the time of hire and annually), site-specific training and testing, and job hazard education.
We strive to achieve excellent safety results year in and year out. Our Experience Modification Rating (EMR), OSHA Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR), and Lost Time Incident Rates (LTIR) are well below the averages of the respected industries that we service – from environmental remediation and electrical, to construction. Each day, we put our safety practices to work under the direction of our experienced managers and foremen. Our on-site safety performance is tracked continuously by job-site audits conducted by one of our five full-time safety professionals. Our statistics indicate that PNE’s ownership in keeping its employees, customers, and our environment safe is seen through our EMR and TRIR yearly incident rate calculations.
Our Health and Safety Department staff of six is highly trained and experienced in high-voltage electrical systems, construction, industrial cleaning, emergency response, environmental remediation, and waste management and disposal. We adhere to all safety protocols set forth by the companies we serve.
